Hey Everyone!
Hope you all had a good week and are being safe! This week is transfers and the big news is I'm staying in Basin City again for my 5th transfer so I was super pumped to hear that and be with these awesome people for 6 more weeks. Elder Ashton and I will be receiving a new companion who's name is Elder Bunting, Elder Ashton has been companions with him before so I'm super excited!

First of all mom and dad thanks for your thoughts and concerns about Ricardo. I love what you said about the different churches thing and the quote from Elder Anderson is really good. What I've realized is God planned this for Ricardo on his path, to learn a little here and there until he's ready to come home and I know it's all up to God's timing and doing everything we can so we can be a part of it.
That is sooo nice about the summer and just being free to get projects done and do whatever you please. Don't mean to make you feel terrible but just think, probably when I leave Basin you all will be back in school hopefully that doesn't make you sick to your stomach. Also that's really sad about Gary. It's so sad when people don't have anywhere to look for hope but it's a reminder to me of how blessed I am to have the gospel in my life. How's Gavin doing with all of it I wonder? Sounds like a fun weekend for everyone but I will definitely be praying for Ash and Austin next week and I hope everything is OK with them!
Your family history story is so cool! How do you find all these stories? I appreciate our ancestors and their examples to all of us!
MY WEEK
This week was super good for us! We had a lot of good lessons with Ricardo and Saul and Isabel and their families! This week we didn't get anyone to church but Saul and Isabel came to the Wards 24th of July party and it was so much fun!
This week honestly was a blurr and I can't really remember anything too crazy that happened. Everyone thought I was going to be leaving so it was so crazy that I stayed. The Shaws have to deal with me for 6 more weeks but honestly I'm glad! It just shows me that there is more work for me to do here and I'm excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in Basin!
This week I studied really hard on the reason that I'm here serving a mission and why we do a lot what we do. Being a missionary is the BEST thing I can being doing, to preach repentance to the people and help them grow a relationship with Heavenly Father! I read D&C 15:6 and it hit me of why I'm out in Basin City for 6 months and it's because the Lord has given me the opportunity to preach the gospel and I love it.
Love you all so much and I pray for you each day. I know the Gospel is the most true thing on the earth.
Love Elder Reiley.
