Thanks for the email mom it is so nice to hear from you and the updates of the family! Basketball sounds like it was good all the way around from Utah St. and the girls beating south and also the boys beat Sugar!!! That was some good news to hear and hopefully they can keep this winning streak going! The water problem does not sound good. I hope that everthing works out and did dad and the Bish figure it out or not really? How is grandma Hart doing? Any updates from family in IF or not really? Also will you send me uncle Steve's email, I wanted to send him an email. I love your thoughts about person revelation and it really does come everyday! Every decision we make is revelation from our Heavenly Father helping us make good decisions to stay on the right path. Thank you for your thoughts.
This is a great question. One thing I learned from my companion this week was about prophets. Elder Hamblin talked about how prophets really are direct relationship with God. He asked a question that got me thinking and it was, "do you think there were people searching for the truth during the great apostacy?" That got me thinking and he talked about how some people probably wondered but didn't take any action. What a blessing it is for us to not have to wonder what the truth is because we have a true and living prophet on the earth today.
My Week.
This week was really good. We are goinig on our last week of the transfer and I can't believe that this transfer has gone by. This week we had a lot of good lessons with the people we are teaching and they are doing good. Roberto said not to give up on him and not be discouraged because he's not baptized and that gave me a lot of comfort. We had a lesson with Rose this week and she is amazing! She wants to learn everything she can about the church first but we actually got a member on the zoom call with us and I thought it was going to be a disaster but it was really good! The Lord always provides a way for us if and only if we put in the effort. Michelle and Junior came to church on Sunday and they liked it again. We went over to their house and watched the Book of Mormon video(s) with the whole family and it was awesome and they said they would start reading the Book of Mormon from the beginning to the end.
I had a really cool expirience with personal revelation on Sunday. We went to this guy named Marcos and knocked on his door. He loves reading the bible so we wanted to set up a bible study with him. We started talking and things were winding down and we were about to leave and then I didn't really think about it but I asked, "what does Jesus Christ mean to you Marcos?" I was expecting a short answer and something simple but he just broke down and cried and told us about how he lost his brother not too long ago but he said he knows that God loves him and we told him that he will see his brother again and he was so excited. It was an expirience that builds my testimony to know Heavenly Father does give us personal revelation.
This week went by really fast and I can't remeber a whole lot that happened. I do that God loves us so much. Jesus Christ is our Savior and redeemer and because of him we can LITERALLY live with our families forever. A lot of people think it is impossible for them to live with their families forever but it is 100% possible and just remember, we are have an end goal. We know what we are working towards so don't let the things of this world stress you out or worry you. Stay close to our Savior and we will find light. I love you all so much! Keep being awesome and let us all strengthen our testimonies in the gospel everyday. Have a good week!
