Feb. 7-13, 2021

Hey Everybody how is it going? I hope and pray you had a good week.

Reply to your letter:
It sounds like everyone had a good week. Pretty normal at home which is good. I am so glad to hear the boys are number 1 seed in the district tournament and hopefully they can keep the moment into the district tournament. Mom are they open to letting fans in or are they prett locked down? Hopefully everything goes well and sorry to hear about the girls. It was a season of learning and growing and I bet next season will be awesome!

Utah state needs to play some games! I think it's so funny that Wyoming wouldn't come play them and then BYU wouldn't play them either, that is pretty funny but hopefully they keep up the good work. So Justin and his girlfriend??? That is super exciting and good for him! So what about the Beans? and the Harts? I bet that was hard for Doug to send off Taylor but he is going to be an awesome missionary.

This past week I am thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the fact I know if I am obedient to the commandments I will see miracles in my life. The knowledget to know we are all entiltled to blessings if we are obedient and keep the commandments. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and his Atoning sacrifice and the opportunity I can get better each day and overcome my mistakes.

My Week:
This week was really interesting, awesome, stressful, spiritual, and a lot more emotions. I got transferred to Basin City Washington and I got here and it was so awesome. I pulled in and was like, "Did I get transferred home?" Basin City is literally Tetonia Idaho, it's so awesome!!!! There is the "city" that consists of a little store, church, school and a trailer park and a bunch of farms and orchards. I got here and it was amazing. We go knock a lot of doors at the trailer park but also all over in the Boonies. I jumped right in and started learning Spanish and it was prett rough and I don't understand a whole lot but I know as I just try, Heavenly Father will bless me. You have to make 100,000 mistakes to learn a language, it's just up to me to decide how soon I am going to make those mistakes.

A funny story is, we were at this guys house and my companion Elder Williams (who is from Snowflake Arizona and is a pretty cool elder) was getting pretty heated with this one guy about the Book of Mormon, but I had no idea what was going on, so when it went queit, I just bore my testimony of the BOM the best I could and I thought it was good. Then we got in the car and E. Williams said something like, "thanks for cooling it off in there." I didn't really know what he was talking about but then I realized my testimony was kind of random but it cooled it off. The power of a testimony works!

Also dad this one is for you! On Wednesday we went to this family farm and made pies!!! We made some cherry pies and berry pies so dad now I know how to make a top for your pies so it was super cool and I'll send some pictures.

I love this work here. We are working hard and President Rasmussen said that if we are exaclty obedient and work hard, we will achieve the vision this transfer. It was so motivating and Elder Williams and I need to do better in being obedient and I know if we do we will see miracles here in little ole Basin City. Thank you so much for the email mom. I love you and dad so much! I hope you have a good week and just know I am loving it here in Washington. Hope you have a great week and can't wait to talk to you all tonight!

Love Elder Reiley

P.S Also to make it even more like home, it snowed probably a foot and a half here so we have been doing a lot of shoveling.

Love you all!
