October 3-9, 2021

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the email and I'm glad to hear the family is doing good and it was a fun week!

REPLY: It sounds like a pretty normal week back home but I'm glad everyone is safe! Sorry to hear about football with Sugar. Every year is brutal and I can't stand them or even more it bugs me when people from Teton say stuff so I feel where you’re coming from mom but I just think of that talk from Elder Dunn I think? Just getting 1% better everyday is the goal so I think we've come a long ways. That's good kinley got a tie on her senior night and I'm praying that they can win in districts! And the boys too! From the pictures it looks like they have a pretty good team!

Mom that's so awesome you got set apart and serving, the Lord has so many miracles for you mom so I'm really excited for you! Just think how awesome it will be for you to make new relationships and really grow! Always remember the Lord qaulifies those He calls and I really have a testimony of that but you'll do great mom! Also congrats to DALLIN!!! That is awesome he got home safe and gave a good talk, but I'm grateful for his example to me!

Thanks so much for this spiritual thoughts and those quotes! When we sacrifice the things of this world and learn from our experiences we will grow. I love to think to how humble we have to be grow closer to God when we have experiences that are hard but when we turn our will over to Him that's when we will be happy.

For help, ya I'm leaving the 25th to Mexico so it's coming! But my question is how am I going to get my bedding down there? I'll call and talk later about it. I'll meet Brad and get everything organized and make sure to give some stuff to the Shaws. For the Christmas package that sounds good just remember that my suitcases can't be over 50 pounds and maybe I'll try getting the mission office address down there? It'll all work out but thanks for being so willing to help me out!

MY WEEK
Time is really cooking here in the WKM and we just had transfers and I'm staying with Elder Brown in Pasco and we're getting Elder Fairholm too so it will be so fun!

This week was pretty much all a blur so sorry if I don't give too many details. We found this lady named Maria and we finally had a lesson with her and she said she wants to find out what's missing and it turns out her brother got baptized a year ago so the Lord really provided her!

This week we have been working really hard with Ramon. We have went over everyday to help him feel ready for his baptism today or tomorrow. He is sick and doesn't want to be baptized when he's not feeling well so we went over yesterday and gave him a Priesthood blessing and it was so spiritual! We are praying he has the faith to be healed and I know he will!

Also this week I went on exchanges with my best friend Elder Waddoups and it was my year mark so we went to breakfast and had such a good day! We just had a good time and found a lot which was so fun! Then on Friday we had Zone Conference and I learned so much. I love President Rasmussen and his guidance and it was so cool! Then on Saturday we had another exchange with Elder Guyman and he is so good! He's pretty young in the mission but I was really impressed with his Spanish and just knowing what he was doing. I love all the missionaries here!

Then the final highlight was today and in the mission we are having a Zone Leader basketball tournament so we went down to Hermiston and beat them 24-21 so we are on top of the mission now!

I truly have a testimony that the Lord's work is the same anywhere. He wants his children home and will provide miracles! I love you all so much and have a good week!

Love Elder Reiley
