Hey mom thanks for another amazing email and updated from the week! So good to hear from you all.
Respond: Wow what a week thank you for telling me about the updates. I'm really sad to hear we lost to American Falls that is rough. I feel bad for Wilkes because his team is so young and I can bet that all the know it alls ripped him which is brutal but hopefully they can get a win this week and get some more experience for the future! That's good Ty and Bradley are playing and Brayden too! We have some grandkids playing ball so that's a good time. I'm glad to hear that Kinley is just an animal and best Marsh, you can't beat that at all! Thanks for the updates on the family and cousins, I can't believe Dallin comes in a few weeks but that is so cool! I love our family so much.
Thanks so much for your spiritual thought about raising a family in the gospel and Elder Ballard is so right! It's always nice to know as well as long as we're trying, the Lord will take care of the rest so thanks for sharing. I sure do love you guys and hope all is well back home.
My week: This week was so special for me. We saw so many amazing miracles and I can't believe another week had passed by me.
On Tuesday we had a pretty normal day but we went out to our ward mission leader, Hermano Balero, and took dinner to him and it was so cool to serve him and see him so happy.
Wednesday we had such a good Zone Council. Elder Brown and I were wondering what we needed to train on and we felt like we needed to get people to church. In the past weeks we we were getting like 10 people to church as a zone but we gave a really good training and the spirit was super strong and we had such a high faith that for the rest of the week we invited everyone we talked to, to come to church and it paid off!
So Friday was a really good day too. We had a lesson with Ramon and taught church again and it was so good! He ended up coming along with Gloria(a member) and her husband Jose! Then we had dinner with a new less active family we met named the Trejos and their son is ready to be baptized so we are helping him feel ready! Then we went to Patricia's with some sister missionaries and had more food and had a combined lesson with their son Erwin and it was so cool! We taught the Restoration and the spirit was so strong. We invited him to be baptized next week and he wants to. Such a blessing from our Heavenly Father and I want this family, in a year, to go to the temple and be sealed for time and all eternity so please keep Erwin and this family in your prayers becasue they are having a little family trouble but I do know everything will work out becasue God is in charge.
So then Sunday came around and the biggest miracle I have ever been a part of happened. We had church at 8:30 in the morning and Ramon and his family came but also these two ladies that we met at the church 2 weeks ago looking for help came, so we had 4 people come and Javier came and got the priesthood which was amazing. So remember about the church training? Well our zone did so well, we have a goal of 30 people at church and we started off really strong in the morning and had about 20 come then over in Kennewick they had a few people show up so we were probably at 25 people or something when church was done. But the miracle was throughout the night people kept sending in people that watched church and the count kept rolling on and on and on. Before the day was done the Lord blessed us and gave us a HUGE miracle; we broke the record in the history of this mission and in one day our Zone brought 41 of our brothers and Sisters to church. It was amazing and our faith was so high, we honestly didn't do a whole lot but Heavenly Father took care of the rest when we did everything we could. It was so special to me to know my Lord wants me to be succussful and happy.
Our Heavenly Father is a Father of Miracles. I love the scripture Mormon 9:11. It backs up my statement and I know this is the time and the place where God wants me to be. I will do anything He wants me to do and I pray for you each and everyday! Love you all and have a good week.
Love Elder Reiley
