September 5-11, 2021

 Hey everyone! Such a good week that went by really fast! Thanks for the email too! 

REPLY: I'm glad to hear that it was a pretty good week for you so far. It's so cool to be a teacher and meet new kids every year and have an impact on them. That's so cool that Kinley tackled the goalie and got the win! That's too bad we lost to WJ for football, I hope they can pull it together with Salmon, how does south and sugar look? 

Hopefully Tyson gets feeling better, keep me updated on his shoulder and everything. That's good about the Utah state game and how they won! Sounds like they should have a good season hopefully! 

Thanks for your thoughts on family history and about the Book of Mormon! It all plays in together how the Book of Mormon can help us through those hard times.

MY WEEK: Wow this week was really good and kind of crazy. Had a lot of meetings and just stuff to do so we were really busy but it's a good thing! 

Last week we had another opportunity to give a blessing to the Elders Quorum Presidents wife who is sick and again I'm humbled that the Lord would give us His special power to act in His name. Then Hermamo Cortines (the president) gave us a lot of information about the ward which was super cool and helpful. 

During Tuesday and Wednesday we had a lot of meetings so didn't get to go out a lot but we met with Ramon and their family again and he still wants to get baptized just needs to come to church but yesterday his son Jose came so it was awesome! Also we found a girl named Jackie who is going through a hard time and she was so close to be baptized but had some concerns with the church so we are helping her get over that but she is really awesome! 

Yesterday also we got to listen to the face to face with Elder Bednar and it was so good. He said something that stood out to me, he says, "we don't need to defend the doctrine, we need to declare it." So good and it is 100% true.

Sooo yesterday we had a huge miracle! It was the evening and I was praying really hard that we would find someone who was ready to be baptized so we went out and absolutely got shut down, no one wanted to listen and I was pretty bummed but we went to our last visit and we were walking in the parking lot and started talking to this kid. Then his family pulled up and we started talking to them and it turns out they are members which is crazy and they had a friend named Maria who isn't a member and wants to talk to us now! 

Get this, we sent a text to a Maria a few days earlier because some other missionaries told us to and it turns out to be the same Maria. Do miracles cease to exist? I know this is the Lord's work, His hand is in my life and if we have the faith to go and do, He will provide miracles that will change our lives forever!
