Hey everyone happy Christmas week!
That sounds like a really awesome week mom! Got to Christmas break and now its time to relax, that's awesome. Good to hear about basketball for boys and girls, it does sound like they are winning some games which is super cool. Hopefully they beat Sugar and South! How are they doing? Jaxon's party sounds fun! I'm glad you got to visit with Alex's family and even got dad down to Logan, that is super awesome! Is dad excited about Christmas like always? I hope he is because growing up he would hype me up so much about when the "good ole fat man" would come down the chimney.
I have been thinking about Grandpa Hart the past couple of days too and I keep reading my patriarchal blessing and I was thinking about how blessed I was to have grandpa give me that blessing and I know he's watching out for all of our family. That's awesome you guys did a zoom call to talk about grandpa and grandma because they truly are amazing.
Thanks for your testimony of the Book of Mormon, I know that it is a true book, how is it not? These prophets gave up their lives to have this book for our generation and it truly does testify of Jesus Christ! I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is the only way for us to have eternal life and I'm grateful for the Atonement of Christ and for the opportunity I have, during this Christmas season, to give people this gift of repentance.
MY WEEK
This week was full of ups and downs. We taught a lot of lessons this week and found a couple new people to teach, but as a zone we found 26 new people to teach this week so that was awesome!
On Wednesday we had Christmas zone conference and it was so fun! We had a talent show, and I actually sang a song that an Elder wrote about Idaho, but I'm gonna keep the video secret so dad and Austin don't give me a hard time. We got cowboy hats and spurs and it was really fun. Then we had lunch and also had a big sideshow and it was really spiritual and uplifting for me.
Then Thursday, Friday, and Saturday were a little hard. For Roberto we moved his baptism back because he's having some coffee problems but we also found out he's moving so we might lose him which really hurt but as long as he sticks with meeting with the missionaries it will be good! Michelle is planning on getting baptized on January 2nd! I'm so proud of her but here's the prank, she's married by common law and so before she gets married we have to have the bishop marry them, so hopefully that all goes well:) Then Saturday was a major bummer, Kristopher was getting baptized at 10am, we went to the church, got the chairs set up and the font filled and then at 9am, his mom called and said that they were sick and couldn't make it.... so we went into panic mode and called a bunch of people and it was pretty stressful but we have it set up for the 26th and I have faith that it's gonna happen! So those last days were a little rough but all I can do is continue with faith and work hard and trust that the Lord will bless our efforts! The Church is true and I hope everyone has an awesome Christmas!!!
