Hey everyone!!
This week was really awesome and motivating for us here in Basin!
Thank you so much for the thought and quote from Elder Holland. It is so true especially for the people thinking about baptism. K. said shes not ready to be baptized and we testified that she is missing out on so many blessings that the Lord has for her and when we are in His service, the Lord knows when we are uncomfortable and uneasy so we will be blessed even more!
Glad to hear about the week and it makes me kinda sad all those kids are graduating but that is awesome you helped them in school. 20 years down the road they will think of how nice you were to them. Also nice job for Tyson and Kinley! They are studs and its so cool they both placed in state. Also I'm glad Weiser won state baseball, I remember those good ole days!
So a scripture that stood out to me this week was Moroni 6:3-6 talking about when we are baptized we become a family and as we've focused on inactive members it reminds them and me, in the Church we are a family and we support and help one another! Thanks for asking that question.
MY WEEK
This week was pretty awesome for us. On Wednesday we had a big meeting with the Stake President and the Spanish missionaries and we talked about how we can improve our branches and it helped get Elder Ashton and I to get excited and go to work and get it this area going.
Also on Saturday I went on an exchange with Elder Hatch and it was fun because he has been companions with Elder Angle and Elder Williams so it was awesome! We had a big service project in Pasco and then we had a BBQ with a member so it was so fun! Then we got two of our friends to the Sisters baptism so it was a good day for sure.
This week we met with Juan and it was a good lesson and he is such a nice guy. We then met with Karie this week and she just had her baby so it was pretty crazy for her but I plan on sharing that quote with her.
Also we had a little miracle this week. We were at church and Reagan and Riley came! Then after their mom came up to us and said Reagan wants to be baptized June 14 so we are so excited and always give thanks to the Lord! Being a missionary and focusing on Jesus is the best.
I want you all to know I know my Savior lives! I am really trying to find out WHO my Savior is and not just what He did and I have a long ways to go but I know through the Atonement of Christ I can change and He is there every step of the way.
I love you all so much and appreciate the prayers. I hope you all are safe and take care.
Love Elder Reiley
