May 2 - 8 - 2021

Hey thanks for the email! I'm glad you all had a good week.

It sounds like you all had a good week and that's awesome you got to spend time with grandma and I am super glad that my brothers and I are close too! I love family!

I'm glad you guys were safe and kinley and Ty are doing good in track. That is super crazy about Rigby and that girl! The world is getting scarier and scarier but we just need to look to Christ for peace, literally the only way we can be happy but I'm glad everyone will be alright. Hopefully Teton is safe still. I love talking to you guys and Grandpa and Grandma on mother's day! It was a real treat for me to do and I hope you all have a safe week.

MY WEEK
This week was really crazy! On Monday I found out Elder Williams is getting to transferred to Mabton so I was pretty bummed because we had a really good time here but the Lord has a different plan for us. He has been here in Basin for 9 months so Tuesday and Wednesday we did a lot of saying goodbye to members and people here so I hope I can build those relationships like he did.

On Thursday I got Elder Ashton and he is from Saratoga Springs Utah and he is sweet! He played football down there and is a big kid but we get along good so im excited for this transfer! He is good at Spanish but I find myself understanding and participating a lot more which is good! We are focusing a lot on the less active members in the Spanish Branch and we've met some really awesome families so far.

We also had the opportunity to go to the temple one of these days because Elder Ashton baptized a lady a long time ago and she went and did baptisms so we got to go see her and it was such a cool experience to see her and I felt the spirit so much and it reminds me of how special the temple is in our lives and how it truly is a blessing for us.

I said it's been a crazy week... but this Saturday topped it off! We got the district and went to the Whitby's and we butchered 173 CHICKENS!!!!! It was fun and just a new experience for sure. I did it all from chopping heads to gutting them out but then after we had some lunch with them and it was so fun! I love the small family community here and it reminds me of home but I can't say ill get to do that ever again.

A cool spiritual thought i had this week is when I was reading in the Doctrine and Covenants Section 127:4. It was an eye opener for me and I loved how it talked about doubling everything, our diligence, patience and then we will receive blessings. i also loved that if it said we are persecuted, there is no difference from us and past prophets and because Jesus Christ was persecuted, we can overcome anything we face.

I love you all so much and thank you all for the prayers. Keep being safe and strive to be missionaries wherever you are right now! Have a good week.
