Hey! Thanks so much for the updates on everything. This week was so good but went by too fast. We are already half way through the transfer which is crazy to think about.
Reply: Sounds like a good week for everyone and mom lots of meetings but it is good! Sad to hear about baseball is getting smoked but who will win it this year? Marsh or South? But hopefully they can have some fun with it. Also that is so cool to hear about uncle Doug and the fireside! I had no idea but sounds like it was a big success. He is so powerful to be honest, I read his advice, that he wrote to me, a lot and I'm glad to hear that more youth will prepare to head on a mission! That is super cool mom! Did the Hart family go too?
Your spiritual thought is awesome because I was telling a guy we are teaching the same thing yesterday! How if we put God first everything else will turn out, don't know how but it will. Thanks!
My Week: Nothing too crazy this week it was pretty Normal but really good. We are working really good with the Branch and get so much support from them. We have 3 families with baptismal dates; Ramirez Family, Videl Family, and Claudia and Oscar. If you could all pray for them it would be awesome! We are seeing lots of miracles and I am really happy to be working here with Elder Saldaña.
Some highlights this week, I went on exchanges with Elder Timothy, he is so awesome he likes basketball and hunting so we had a lot in common and it was good to get to know him. We had a really good lesson in the evening talking about how there are so many bad things in the world but we showed them Gospel Library and talked about how much good there is in the church!
On Thursday we had a cool miracle. From 3-5 we had everything cancel but got a call from Martha and said she needed helping moving dirt at her moms house. So we headed over and did service and helped out and the miracle was her mom, Irma, softened her heart and came to church yesterday and loved it and wants to come again so like the example of Ammon service is a great way to help others soften their heart and accept the gospel.
This week i studied President Eyring's talk "Steady in the Storms" I loved it because when the storms come and they will, we will not fall if we are on Christ's rock and the only way to always be with Christ is to repent as often as we can. I love what President Eyring says,
"For me, the power of that warning to repent forms in my mind a picture of the sure time when you and I will stand before the Savior after this life. We want with all our hearts not to shrink but rather to look up at Him, see Him smile, and hear Him say, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant'" I felt a lot of peace reading that because if people reject us or don't want to listen, I don't have to be upset but rather have hope that if I work hard in the last day it will be a good one.
I love you all so much and am Grateful for my family and friends who support me here. I love you and have good week!
Love Elder Reiley
