Hey everyone! Thanks for the email mom and I'm so glad everything is going well. Like i said today is transfers so this might be short and sweet but we'll see how it goes.
Reply: First of all congratulations to the girls basketball team for playing in the state championship and doing so good! Kinley i bet played awesome and she'll look back and be so happy one day! That is also so awesome you ran into all those guys in Boise and Tanner sent me that picture too so it was cool!
Thanks also for all the help and spiritual thoughts in this letter and also throughout the week. They are exactly what i need because i feel the spirit testify that everything that has happened is all part of Heavenly Father’s plan and above everything He loves me. I especially loved the quote from Niel L. Maxwell about picking up the handcart and moving forward because although it was hard to leave Benemerito, the work is the same, it is the same message of Salvation and i know there is someone in Coatzacoalcos who needs to hear it from me.
My Week: So this week was a lot to prepare for the baptism of the Cerritos. It was a lot of stress and prayers but Heavenly Father provided a lot of miracles.
Tuesday we came with our district leader and his companion to Benemerito to do exchanges so it was really awesome to have them there and pass time together!
Wednesday we got up and started our exchanges and i was with Elder Jacobo and we spent the morning helping President Juan but after we had some good lessons. Then in the evening i went with Elder McIntyre to some lessons but also to the Cerritos to do their interviews. Satan was working pretty tough because they were thinking about pushing it back but we had a long talk and the spirit was really strong and they all passed!
So Saturday came for the baptism and we got everything ready and it was my birthday so i couldn't have wanted anything else! President Valencia come from the mission Presidency to be with us. We went to the river and had the service which was so special and the most joy a person could feel! Then we had a meeting in the night and ate some cake so it was a great day.
But also we got the news i am getting transferred
toughest news i have received on my mission but I'm headed to Coatzacoalcos to be a Zone Leader with Elder Rivas. What is kind of small world is this is the area that i served with Elder Landrum for 1 day.
toughest news i have received on my mission but I'm headed to Coatzacoalcos to be a Zone Leader with Elder Rivas. What is kind of small world is this is the area that i served with Elder Landrum for 1 day. I just want to share a cool experience i had when i was feeling really bummed out, i remembered Romans 1:16 that says "i am no ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is power unto salvation to everyone that belieth." It was a humbling moment to know it doesn't matter if in here or there but it is the same message and i know without a doubt Heavenly Father has more of his children who need to hear this message from me and i just want to get started with the work.
Sunday i got to bare my testimony which was cool and we had about 75 people which was a miracle. Then i said goodbye to everyone which is always hard but I sure do love all the people i met with all my heart!
I know this church is true and Jesus Lives. I love you all and hope you have the best week ever!!
Love Elder Reiley
