February 27-March 5, 2022

Hey! To start off I will say it every time but this week was a good one for Elder Rivas and I! We saw so many miracles and I am so happy to be here serving the people in Coatzacoalcos!

Reply: Thanks for the email! It always makes my Sunday's when I can read your email and hear about everything! Happ birthday to Kinley! I'll be sure to send her a message today but I am super glad to hear that they made the allstar game and all I can say is good luck because Annalea and I still hold the championship belt! I am pretty glad to hear about state basketball how sugar got whipped and also North didn't win it but that is so crazy that spring sports is starting up. Are we going to have a baseball team or no?

I love those pictures of President Kunz and the activity for the youth how fun! President Kunz is definitely one of my heroes!  That is really interesting to think about how many youth don't have this knowledge or the gospel in their lives. The other night we were walking and passed these two teenagers and we said "hello" and the first thing they said was "Satan Rocks!" Super sad to think they have this vision but we know how the gospel will make it to everyone!

Thank you for your spiritual thought mom I know it wasn't random you put that there because I had a very spiritual experience with exactly that. I know for a FACT that the Lord fulfills and keeps His promises. Saturday we were out visiting people and not having success and I was thinking (and fasting) "Heavenly Father why aren't you keeping your promise that President Rasmussen told me, that people will 'flock' to the gospel of Jesus Christ?" Well it was immediate when I felt the spirit testify and say, "I will provide you people to teach who are prepared and looking for the gospel." I felt so much peace the rest of the day. We went to a member lesson and had a great message and started to talk about a friend of theirs who lives close who might be interested so we went and visited him real quick and it was amazing! We talked and it was the Lord proving us someone we can teach. His name is Jairo and he was so excited to talk to us and when we gave him a pamphlet he said that his dad had already shared the same pamphlet with him! I know and testify that this is the light of the world and people are looking and when we do our part, is when they can find the right way!

Sorry that was long but that was my spiritual thought this week. We have so many miracles! I love being with Elder Rivas because we have so much fun and joy but also the Lord is blessing us! This week was so fun too because on Wednesday I went on exchanges with Elder Farmer from Logan Utah (Go Aggies) and we had a really awesome day! Then on Friday I went on another exchange with Elder Brady from Santa Rosa California and that was a really good day too!

I am always impressed of how much I learn from other missionaries, and to see their testimonies is so amazing and strengthens my own testimony of the gift of tongues, of miracles, and how our Savior Jesus Christ lives and loves us.

Yesterday for Sunday we went to the 3 wards and had good testimony meetings and also 6 of our friends came to church so we are excited to see how they progress this week. Then we broke our fast with some homemade wings and they were so good! Then we went to a lesson with Edgar and he cooked us some hamburgers so we were stuffed but it was awesome!

I love you all and I am so glad to hear everyone is doing good but more importantly everyone is staying strong in the gospel! Have a good week.

Elder Reiley!
