Hey everyone! This was a good week for me in Mexico! Thanks for the email and updates on everything! I do love ya'll so much.
REPLY: Thanks for the sports updates for the school! That is so cool Ryker won the tiger grizz! Also I hope the boys can pull it together soon but it sounds like they are competitive in all the games. I'm also glad the girls had Ole Sugar on the ropes and also beat south but that is so crazy to me that Kinley is a Senior!!!
That is super cool that the missionaries came over and so cool that the one Elder is going fishing!
What an awesome time for Reagan preparing for her mission and I'm glad you all got to go with her in the temple. I really want to go to the temple a lot because it has been a good 13, 14 months since I've gone but really the Plan of Salvation is such a blessing for us here on earth to know that there is hope in all things. Also I loved your thought from the Book of Mormon in Heleman 10. The blessings that the Lord gives Nephi must have been so comforting and shows that God is so merciful and loving that when we do His will, His blessings will come!
MY WEEK: This week was pretty normal to be honest and today for Pday we are going to the ancient Ruins so I don't know if I will have a lot of time to talk but the week was good.
Some highlights this week was Sandra and Yerli got callings to help out with the primary and Jardy is getting the priesthood next week! But we had a lot of good talks with them and especially last night. We tool Hermano Gunter and talked about baptisms for the dead and Gunter shared a powerful testimony so it was good! Please pray that the parents can soften their hearts because they want to go to the temple but need to accept baptism first.
Another cool thing that happened this week was the referrals we got from online. Now Benemerito is like Tetonia right so really a lot of people don't have phones so we never receive any referrals but this week we had 6! We talked with all of them too and one of them live close to Bene so it was a tender mercy from Heavenly Father we could have that experience!
Ok, so do you all remember Vanessa? The lady that we found looking for someone else and answered her prayer. Well we went over Wednesday and taught the Restoration and it was so spiritual and she said she wants to be baptized so we are planning for February 12 but please pray for her to keep strong!
I've been studying the Old Testament right now and i am actually enjoying it believe it or not! There are a lot of lessons to learn and grow but I love the story of Jacob and his brother Esau. Jacob basically "stole" the blessing from his father Isaac and then a few years later they met up and Jacob had so much fear but it says that "Esau ran and embraced Jacob". This might seem small but imagine the feeling of relief that Jacob had because Esau was humble enough to FORGIVE.
I love you all so much and hope you have a good week!
Love Elder Reiley
