Hey everyone how is it going? Hope you all had a good week and are enjoying the summer! This week was really good and fun! We had zone conference and it was busy and then my comp got sick but we finished the week hard and saw a lot of miracles.
Reply: Wow sounds like a pretty good week in the summer. To clean and the piano looks super good! Also that is really awesome to hear dad is getting the hay done and I'm sure with that there are a lot of trials but hopefully everything will go good and that the swather will work out. Wow lots of weddings too that is super wild but hopefully I will get to talk to Keagan and see how he is doing but that is super wild!
Also thank you so much for your spiritual thought and I am going to study this talk from Elder Uchtdorf because it is super good. It's true how Satan is always working too and little by little he will try to tear us down but just reminds me of how important is it to stay strong and always be progressing! Thanks for that!
My Week! Alright so it was a crazy week for sure. Lots of things that happened with zone conference. All in all it was good for us. On Tuesday elder Villanueva and I got all packed up and headed on a bus for 3 1/2 hours to Minatitlán and we showed up and got settled in then went to San Pedro where I was serving before! We did exchanges and I went with Elder Saldaña so it was like the good Ole days. We went and visited Martha so I was so happy to see them! Then we had a quick visit with another member family so it was awesome. Then we went back to mina and stayed the night.
Then the next morning on Wednesday we went to Coatzacoalcos where I was also serving before! I was with Elder Pimentel and we did work on the phone. It was good and we had some good lessons and then around 7:30 we called the secretaries to ask about the food for zone conference the next day and they had NOTHING! So pretty stressful figuring it all out but also the Lord helped us out and everything worked out!
Thursday was the zone conference and it was super good. We did some trainings and had a good presentation. President Chávez is super good at training too so all the missionaries are really excited! Then we came with with the Chávez family and got to talk and explore a little bit of Coatza so it was super fun.
Friday and Saturday were pretty normal days for us. We worked in the office and had our interviews with President Chávez and it was so cool! I learned so much from him and I'm excited to keep improving. Then Saturday night my companion got really sick so we came home and made a lot of calls and I was able to give him a blessing so it was super special.
Sunday morning we got up and he felt a little better so we got ready for church and went and got there to welcome everyone and it's such a highlight of my week to see everyone there and say hi to them. We had a lot of friends come to and they loved it. This week are planning Angel's baptism for this Saturday and Isabel's for Sunday so I'm praying everything goes well for them and that Satan won't have that power over them.
It was a good week like I said and I'm excited for these next weeks with things going on and I love being a missionary! I love seeing miracles every day and expecting to see the Lord help us out. I love Moses 1:39 and the simple purpose of the Lord. There are a lot of things in this world but remember the immortality and eternal life is the Lord's focus. I love you all and hope you have a good week!
