Hey everyone how is it going? Hope you all had a fantastic week and it sounds like it was a good one for everyone, sorry in advance this letter is going to be short.
So this week was ups and downs. Martha and her family were going to be baptized but they talked with the dad and he wants to talk with them first before they do anything so that was a bummer but I know they will be alright and the Lord will provide a way for them to make this next step. I was feeling bummed but then read Alma 7:4-5, 8 and it talked about having joy and it was exactly what I needed.
I was also able to go on exchanges with Elder Bracken from Hariman Utah so it was fun being with him and we saw a lot of miracles.
All in all the week was really good and went by too fast because now I am leaving. Last night around 9:30 when I was talking to my mom for Mother's day, we got a call from President Whitworth and he wanted to talk to me privately so I took the phone and he explained that he wants me in Villahermosa today at 4 so yep I am getting transferred. So after we found out I said bye to Martha and her family and also some awesome members but man it is so hard to say goodbye and in a way so fast. It is the worst part but I know it is only for a quick time and I trust the Lord knows what he is doing, even though it's hard and I love this area so much even though I only had 5 weeks, this has been the best branch/ward I ever served in and I am going to miss it.
I think of a popular verse from 1 Nephi 3:7, there isn't another option but to do what the lord wants and to do it with a good attitude but I know the Lord has prepared more people and friends who need to hear the gospel from me.
