May 8-14, 2022

 Hey everyone! I'm glad you all had a good week and sounds like it was fun. This week was full and went by so fast!

This week was really fun because I was in a trio with Elder Meads and Elder Villanueva. We did a lot of training and learning about the area and had a lot of trainings. Honestly it was a lot of work and preparing things for meetings and transfers but still we had a great time and so much fun. 

So my new area is Villahermosa like the City so it is huge! It is like Salt Lake or something like that size but we do a lot of work in the office and then get to our area late which is pretty hard because we don't get as much time in our area but still we saw so many cool miracles. 

On Thursday we went over to a family of 4 and they are so cool. Manuel the dad and Malu the mom are friend of a member and she said we should go visit them. So we went over and had an awesome lesson of the plan of salvation and ended up setting up a baptismal date the 12 of June but Honestly they can do it quicker because they are really prepared! 

One thing we are doing in our area is finding by the spirit and being really direct. We knock on doors we think we need to knock and the first thing we ask if they want to hear a special message about families and how Jesus Christ brings peace in our lives  and it had been so awesome to see a lot of miracles. People open up and tell us they needed this or that God answered their prayers so it has been a really affective way to find. 

Monday we had transfers and I'm staying with Elder Villanueva here and said goodbye to Elder Meads which was really hard because he was like my older brother who taught me so much but it was so fun serving with him but i am really excited to be where I am even though I miss San Pedro and it was hard to say goodbye to everyone, I know the Lord had a plan for me and that there is someone here who needs to hear the gospel from us. 

I have had the opportunity to study about the book of Mormon and the story of Ammon and his brothers, King Lamoni and his father and I was studying about the attributes that Ammon has and what I need to develop and it was an awesome study so I invite you all to pick a person you like in the Bible or Boom of Mormon and study the attributes they have and I promise you the Lord will give you something to improve on.

Reply: Dang that sounds like a good week mom! Super cook to see Kinley win all of her events and be athlete of the year that is super crazy! And also Tyson whipped all those sugar kids which is awesome too, I'm so proud of them. 

Thanks for the spiritual thoughts about faith and Mormon 13. Really it is true that we just have faith and trust that Heavenly Father knows more than we do, we can receive those blessings.
