Hola once again! Sounds like a good week for everyone and congratulations on finishing another year of school and you are on the summer!!! That is super fun but thanks for the updates on everyone.
Reply: Alright sounds like a pretty relaxed week to finish off the school year but who won state baseball? Also I am glad to hear you all had the baby shower for Alex and it went well and that you could run a few errands and thank you for always putting Heavenly Father and our family first! Sure do love our family and also the families that I have met on my mission! Also thank you for your thoughts on that question of trials for good people but I love the quote from Elder Scott and it is so true also I was thinking of people we are teaching that have a lot of trials to progress, that it is only Heavenly Father trusting in them that they are ready to move onward.
My Week: Ok so this week went by really fast because we had exchanges and zone Conference so it was a busy week but also we had the chance to do some really good work in our area. We were able to find 7 new friends to teach and also 13 people we are teaching have dates to be baptized so keep them in our prayers. Manuel and Malu and their 2 kids have a baptism this Sunday so we are praying that this week we can get everything worked out and that they won't have any doubts. Also Guadalupe and her granddaughter have their baptism this Friday and they are really really ready but still pray for them that Satan won't have power of them. Also we will be in Veracruz Wednesday and Thursday because we have zone conference over there too so we are going to need some miracles to work out everything but Elder Villanueva and I have faith in one principle, that if we do everything we can, if we do our part, the Lord will do His so we are really excited for this week!
Wednesday we can start out by saying that I had exchanges with Elder Cabral from California in his area so we went there and had such a good day together! We had a lot of lessons and the last lesson was really good with a lady they have been teaching forever and she really opened up to us and Elder Cabral shared Mosiah 27:29 about the joy we can experience from baptism and the gospel and we put her on date so that was a big highlight!
Also a little update on Regina, she is doing super good! She has her baptism on the 18 but is so ready. She is reading the old testament and wants her Patriartical blessing. We gave her a blessing of comfort yesterday because of a few problems but it was super good!
Thursday was zone conference here in Villahermosa and we had 3 zones together so there were about 60-70 missionaries so we were packed and as an Assistant we have to plan everything and try to be on time and make sure missionaries are there and run the computer and projector so it was a little stressful but it turned out to be really good! We gave our training to start and I was pretty nervous but the Lord helped me calm down and it was really awesome! I used a training President Rasmussen taught me so it was awesome! The highlight was our surprise for President and Hermana Whitworth because this is their last Zone Conference so we made a video with pictures of their 3 years and also videos of missionaries saying thank you and while it was playing we sang a duo of "Army of Heleman" and "Together we Serve" and the spirit was super strong! Sure do love and appreciate President and Sister Whitworth but I am excited to be with them this week in Veracruz and learn more!
I am super happy and loving life. I can't express how happy I am and how much I love life and Mexico. I learn something everyday and know it is hard sometimes but we have joy everyday! I love Mosiah 27:37 because as missionaries we "publish peace" and "declare that the Lord reigneth."
Love you all and have a good week!
Love Elder Reiley
